TEACHER OF FRENCH JUJA PREPARATORY AND SENIOR SCHOOLS
Responsibilities
● Planning and delivering engaging lessons based on the curriculum and pedagogical approaches, including inquiry and concepts-based learning.
● Regularly assessing and evaluating student progress to inform teaching and learning
● Maintaining open communication with parents and keeping them informed about their child’s progress
● Providing guidance and support in both academic and personal development, addressing social, emotional, and behavioral concerns
● Working collaboratively with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive learning environment
● Engaging in ongoing professional development to stay current with educational trends and exemplary research-based practices
● Demonstrating cultural sensitivity and responsiveness to the diverse backgrounds and needs of students and their families
● Attending relevant departmental, divisional, and professional meetings
Qualifications
●Must have at minimum Bachelor's Degree in relevant subject. (B.Ed)
● Teacher certification from Teachers' Service Commission (TSC)
● Minimum 3 years relevant teaching experience
● Cultural proficiency and understanding of intercultural learning with teaching experience in a multicultural setting
● Competent in using educational technology, including and experience integrating technology
● French teacher (Fluent French speaker with excellent writing and communication skills)
●Candidates with experience in teaching the Cambridge Curriculum (IGCSE) will have an added advantage
