Job Description/Requirements

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

 

Maintain Telecommunications Network Site Fuel at an optimum Level balancing  minimum levels, avoiding need for emergency refueling optimizing costs and practicalities related to site refueling

 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Understand fully customer requirements with regards to site operational availability and compliance
  • Plan site refueling as per customer/internal requirements
  • Ensure fuel distribution and site refueling procedure is understood by all concerned stakeholders, implemented and monitored
  • Daily internal reconciliation of ongoing site refueling events
  • Ensure instant and consistent site refueling data check
  • Ensure reconciliation with customer is done on time and with no losses using correct verified data
  • Track losses to obtain zero deadweight loss
  • Interface with site refueling contractors
  • Ensure used vehicles in site refueling compliance with Legal and Car policy requirements
  • Plan and implement fuel site auditing as per customer/group requirements
  • Ensure special audits are done (prior, posterior, fuel station/depot…)
  • Ensure fuel group reporting is accurate and send on time

 


OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • To ensure constant strict adherence of company’s core values and SHERQ requirements
  • To report and document any incident or accident occurring in relation to Fuel and liaise with the appropriate local/group managers for the necessary action to be taken

 


KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

 

  • Legal and customer requirements compliance
  • No losses on sites
  • Zero record of accidents involving VH used in site refueling
  • Fuel auditing and accurate CPH / Remote Measuring Systems
  • Investigation completion and action plans efficiency
  • Timely submission of reports
  • Strict adherence to SHERQ procedures.
  • Timely completion of all works in accordance with agreed standards and budget specifications.

 

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATION/ EXPERIENCE

 

  • Master in Energy, Electromechanics or any equivalent Diploma
  • Five(5) Years experience in Telecom sites or similar industry with fuel  management e.g LPG
  • Diesel generators main characteristics related to fuel usage
  • Fuel transport requirements
  • Use of Data Analytics tools to optimize work and identify irregularities
  • Driving license

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Ability to interpret a variety of data
  • Decision making and leadership Skills
  • Computer literate ideally including data analytics
  • Ability to withstand pressure
  • Customer Satisfaction Oriented
