JOB PURPOSE:
To drive business growth and achieve sales targets by analyzing market potential, generating and converting enquiries into sales, managing tenders and order finalizations, fostering strong relationships with contractors and customers, providing market insights to management, and ensuring timely payments and effective debt collection.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze market trends and forecast sales volumes based on market potential.
- Drive business growth by achieving set sales targets.
- Generate enquiries, proactively pursue leads, and convert them into confirmed sales.
- Prepare tenders and manage the finalization of orders in line with company procedures.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors and customers by understanding and addressing their needs.
- Gather, analyze, and share market intelligence, including competitor activities and opportunities for business promotion, with management.
- Oversee timely payments and manage debt collection.
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Generator sales.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- The ability to talk to people from all social groups, including high end decision makers and to close deals.
- Well-presented and articulate.
- Ability to take the initiative.
- Good persuasive and interpersonal skills.
- Have high energy, demonstrated ability to deliver results and meet strict deadlines.
