Our client, a leading power solutions company in East Africa, is seeking an experienced Generator Sales Manager to drive sales and business growth of diesel generator sets across Kenya.
Job descriptions & requirements
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sell diesel generator sets (Standby, Prime & Continuous ratings) across Kenya.
- Develop new business opportunities in sectors such as hotels, hospitals, construction, manufacturing, telecom, and real estate.
- Manage key accounts and build long-term customer relationships.
- Prepare and follow up on technical-commercial proposals and tenders.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and revenue goals.
- Develop and manage dealer / channel partner networks.
- Coordinate with service and installation teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field.
- 5+ years’ experience in generator sales or power solutions in Kenya.
- Strong technical knowledge of diesel generators, ATS, and synchronization systems.
- Proven track record in B2B sales and project-based selling.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel within Kenya.
- Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Results-driven with strong market knowledge.
