Graphic Design Volunteer

As a graphic design volunteer, you will create, edit, and produce A+ Visual materials for print and digital media. You will support the organization in branding, marketing campaigns, and social media engagement. You will collaborate with the communication team to translate conceptual ideas into engaging visuals while ensuring AFRIEDO’s brand consistency.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design Creation: Develop graphics for social media, website, newsletters, reports, and marketing campaigns.
2. Branding Consistency: Ensure all visual outputs adhere to the organization’s brand guidelines (logo, colour palette, typography).
3. Print & Digital Assets: Create flyers, posters, banners, and Brochures for events and outreach.
4. Collaboration: Work with the communication and marketing teams to brainstorm and refine designs based on feedback.
5. Photo/ video Editing: Edit photos and create simple animations or infographics

Qualifications and Skills

• Software Proficiency: Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or tools like Canva.
• Creativity & Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing strong layout, typography, and visual storytelling skills.
• Communication: Ability to understand design briefs and translate them into visual representations.
• Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Requirements and Benefits

Time Commitment: Contribute between 5 and 10 hours per week, working remotely with weekly virtual meetings.
