Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Graphic Designer with hands-on experience in digital printing and digital machine operation, along with a Diploma in Graphic Design or a related field. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing creative and technically sound print-ready designs, preparing files for digital output, and ensuring efficient operation of digital printing machines for high-quality production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and prepare a wide range of print materials including brochures, packaging, labels, signage, and promotional items.
- Preflight and finalize files for digital printing: set up bleeds, crop marks, resolution, color profiles (CMYK), and print specs.
- Operate digital printing machines to produce high-quality prints according to job specifications.
- Ensure all artwork meets production standards and print specifications.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure color accuracy and consistent output quality.
- Troubleshoot file or machine issues and make necessary adjustments to maintain smooth production.
- Maintain organized archives of all design and production files.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a graphic design or digital print production role.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro).
- Experience in digital print workflows, color management, and machine operation.
- Familiarity with PDF/X standards, Pantone Matching System (PMS), and digital RIP software.
- Strong understanding of digital printing processes and finishing techniques.
- High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
