Graphic Designer

• Design and prepare a wide range of print materials including book designs, brochures, packaging, labels, signage, and promotional items.
• Handle layout and typesetting for books, ensuring proper pagination, margins, and print-ready formatting.
• Preflight and finalize files for print production: set up bleeds, crop marks, resolution, color profiles (CMYK), and print specifications.
• Work closely with offset printing machines and support offset press operations to ensure high-quality output.
• Ensure all artwork meets production standards and offset print specifications.
• Collaborate with the production team to maintain color accuracy and consistent print quality.
• Troubleshoot file-related or production issues and make necessary adjustments to ensure smooth workflow.
• Maintain organized archives of all design and production files.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in graphic design or print production.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro).
• Adobe InDesign proficiency is a strong advantage, especially for book layouts.
• Ready to work with offset printing machines.
• Familiarity with PDF/X standards and Pantone Matching System (PMS).
• Strong understanding of offset printing processes, book binding, and finishing techniques.
• High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
