Job summary
The Graphic Designer / SocialMedia & IT Officer is responsible for creating visual content, managing social media platforms, building and maintaining the organization’s website, and providing basic IT support to ensure smooth digital communication and system functionality.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Design marketing and promotional materials (posters, flyers, brochures, banners, presentations).
- Develop branding materials and ensure brand consistency across all platforms.
- Create digital graphics for websites and social media campaigns.
- Manage and update social media accounts.
- Develop and schedule social media content.
- Monitor engagement and respond to online inquiries.
- Support digital marketing campaigns and promotions.
- Track performance and provide basic analytics reports.
- Build and maintain the organization’s website.
- Update website content regularly.
- Ensure website functionality, responsiveness, and performance.
- Coordinate website improvements and integrations as needed.
- Provide basic IT support for staff (computers, printers, internet, email issues).
- Coordinate with external IT vendors when necessary.
- Ensure data backup and basic cybersecurity practices.
- Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, IT, Communications, or related field.
- Proven ability to design and build websites.
- Proficiency in design software (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, etc.).
- Experience managing social media platforms.
- Basic knowledge of IT systems and troubleshooting.
- Website development and management skills are required.
- Good communication and creativity skills.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
Experience
- At least 2 years’ experience in graphic design, social media management, website development, or IT support.
