Hairdressing & Beauty Therapy Instructor

Qualifications & Requirements

· Education: Diploma or advanced Certificate in Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy, or Cosmetology from a reputable institution. (Higher National Diploma or NITA certification is an added advantage).

· Experience: Minimum of 2 years of active teaching/training experience in a recognized institution OR 3+ years of working as a senior stylist/beautician in a high-end commercial salon or spa..

· Curriculum Knowledge: Familiarity with the NITA/TVETA Competency-Based Assessment framework.

· Technical Skills: Must be highly proficient in modern techniques (e.g., microblading, acrylic nail extensions, dreadlock artistry, or advanced facial therapies), among others.

· Communication: Excellent command of both English and Kiswahili (spoken and written).

· Interpersonal Skills: Excellent presentation skills, a trendy personal style, and a customer-centric attitude.
