Job Summary

The head Chef implements and maintains high quality food Production tailored to meet changing guest eating trends. He/she is responsible for managing a busy kitchen and the team, to ensure seamless service.

  • Minimum Qualification: Diploma
  • Experience Level: Mid level
  • Experience Length: 5 years

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • In charge of ensuring food standards are maintained, HACCP standards adherence, quality checks etc
  • To ensure food consistency in line with the defined standards (portion sizes, menu presentation, Food quality etc.
  • Menu planning and development
  • Management of the kitchen team
  • To ensure kitchen equipment are kept in good condition and signal malfunction as and when arises


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor degree/diploma in Culinary Art, food production or similar
  • At least 5 years’ experience of working in a busy kitchen
  • Experience of managing a kitchen team
  • Passion for Food & Beverage
