Head Host – Malta
Join a dynamic and high-energy hospitality venue in Malta and lead the front-of-house guest experience. We are looking for a confident and service-driven Head Host to oversee reception operations and ensure every guest receives a warm, professional, and memorable welcome.
Role Overview
As Head Host, you will:
- Lead and supervise the host team to ensure smooth front desk operations
- Welcome guests warmly and manage reservations efficiently
- Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize service flow and guest satisfaction
- Handle VIP guests and special requests with professionalism
- Manage waiting lists and communicate accurate wait times
- Work closely with restaurant management and service teams to maintain seamless operations
- Train and mentor hosts to uphold service standards
- Handle guest feedback at the entrance level and escalate when required
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Host or in a front-of-house supervisory role
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
