Job Title: Head of Maintenance (1) Position

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect the sites regularly to identify problems and necessary maintenance
• Handle general repairs and maintenance including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry etc
• Keep a maintenance log and be able to write shift report
• Prepare weekly maintenance schedule
• Follow safety guidelines and ensure compliance with all company safety regulations

Qualification & Competencies Required

• Diploma in the relevant field
• At least 2 years of experience in an educational set up
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
• Be able to communicate effectively with clients
• Be able to troubleshoot issues

2. Job Title: Chef (1) Position

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and plan menus and daily specials.
• Create prep lists for the kitchen crew.
• Manage food costs and inventory.
• Maintain standards of food storage, rotation, quality, and appearance.
• Ensure compliance with applicable health codes and regulations
• Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and that any defects are reported promptly to the Head of Department
• Maintain cleanliness of food preparation areas, equipment and appliances

Qualifications and Competencies Required

• Diploma/Advance Certificate in Food and Beverage Production preferably from Utalii College
• Have knowledge of all aspects of the operations of a kitchen
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

3. Job title: Transport Manager (1) Position

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement efficient school transportation routes to minimize costs and maximize delivery efficiency
• Manage the school vehicles including maintenance schedules, fuel efficiency and driver management
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and the school policies related to safety, environmental regulations and transportation documentation
• Coordinate transportation activities with the school management to ensure timely arrival of students
• Oversee and manage all aspects of transportation logistics operation within the school.

Qualification and Competencies Required

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics/Business Administration or a related field
• Proven experience in transportation logistics management, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role
• Have a strong understanding of transportation regulations, safety standards and compliance requirements
• Proficiency in transportation management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Effective communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
