A new and dynamic company based in Nairobi is looking for Head of Marketing to oversee day to day marketing activities
Duties and Responsibilities
•To research, analyze and evaluate the competitive market environment
•Monitor threats and opportunities and amend action where necessary to ensure brand/sales developments
•To research i.e analyze all marketing activities of our business (sales and customer profile)
•Prepare complete presentation of any advertising/promotional campaign to CEO
•Supervises the monitoring of all advertising campaigns, news related to competitor to keep abreast of any developments to act accordingly
•Marketing plans i.e Advertising, Sales promotion, Public Relations, Product Development, Pricing and Distribution
•Keep effective control of budgets; to deliver all marketing activity within the agreed budget
•Responsible for marketing of company products and services to the right market
•To achieve frequent, timely and positive media coverage across all available media
•To develop and implement a company wide plan to push product, working with all departments for its execution
Role Summary
•To be responsible for developing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet agreed company objectives
•To evaluate customer research, market conditions, competitor data and implement marketing plan alterations as needed
•To oversee all marketing, advertising, promotional staff and activities
Job Specifications
•Minimum of 3-5 years experience in the marketing industry and working with media
•Extensive experience of developing, maintaining and delivering on marketing strategies to meet company objectives
•A strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
•A proven ability to oversee all marketing, advertising and promotional staff and activities
•Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
•Experience with new media and internet advertising
•Excellent interpersonal skills to build strong rapport with others
