Head of Operations - ICS

Job Function:

Responsible for leading and delivering the operational strategy of Integrated Commercial Solutions (ICS) - Market Access Healthcare in all countries where ICS operates. Also responsible for leading expansion into new countries within Africa and delivering country-level revenue expectations.

Key performance areas:

• Lead the operating model for the ICS business in all countries of operations.
• Deliver Short and longer-term revenue and financial plans by country.
• Develop and execute channel strategy by country for all categories that ICS plays.
• Build mutually beneficial relationships with distributors, key customers and stakeholders to successfully execute on strategic and operational plans.
• Develop and execute a key account management strategy for all top customers by country.
• Effectively position Integrated Commercial Solutions as the most efficient route-to-market (RTM) partner for healthcare companies across multiple countries in Africa.
• Lead the people & culture agenda for the business in line with organisational values.
• Implement the governance and compliance models and frameworks for operations in order to identify and manage risk liabilities.
• Build a high-performance team as required in each country through effective people management.
• Manage current distribution partners across all countries and expand the network and footprint.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with other departments.

Qualifications required:

• Degree or equivalent.

Skills and experience required:

• Minimum of 15 years of total experience, with at least 10 years in leadership roles.
• A master’s degree or relevant postgraduate qualification is advantageous.
• Experience in leading businesses across multiple markets in Africa.
• Leading and supervising culturally diverse teams remotely across several geographies.
