On behalf of our client, we're recruiting a results-driven Head of Production responsible for driving loan book growth, business development, market penetration, and geographic coverage for a microfinance institution offering revolving credit to small business owners with flexible weekly repayment terms. The role focuses on scaling customer acquisition, strengthening sales productivity, expanding market presence, and ensuring sustainable growth of the loan portfolio while maintaining credit quality.
𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀
  • Develop and execute strategies to grow the loan book in line with business targets.
  • Lead business development initiatives to acquire new customers and markets.
  • Drive market penetration and expand geographic coverage across assigned regions.
  • Manage and coach sales, credit, and field teams to improve productivity.
  • Set and monitor KPIs for customer acquisition, disbursements, and portfolio growth.
  • Ensure alignment between sales growth and credit risk management policies.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity.
  • Strengthen partnerships and referral channels to support portfolio growth.
  • Oversee rollout of new products, pricing strategies, and promotions.
  • Monitor portfolio performance to ensure growth is sustainable and profitable.
  • Prepare and present regular growth, production, and performance reports.
  • Collaborate with Collections and Credit teams to balance growth and risk.
𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 & 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘀
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in business development, sales, or portfolio growth within microfinance.
  • Proven track record in loan book growth and market expansion.
  • Strong understanding of micro-credit products and weekly repayment models.
  • Excellent leadership, sales management, and strategic planning skills.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to balance aggressive growth with portfolio quality and risk control.
  • Results-driven mindset with strong stakeholder management skills
