JOB SUMMARY

Qualifications& ExperienceCertificate in Health Records and Information Technology from a recognized institutionMinimum of two (2) years relevant work experience in a busy healthcare setting.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Patient Registration, Billing and PaymentsEnsure accurate patient registration, billing, and appointment scheduling in the HMIS, including verification of patient details, processing payments, and applying correct ICD-11 coding.Records Management & Data IntegrityMaintain complete and accurate patient records (manual and electronic), prepare required reports, and manage statutory documentation suchas birth and death notifications in compliance with policies and legal requirements.Patient Support &ComplianceProvide professional front-office support to patients, uphold confidentiality of medical information, support staff training on systems and procedures, and assist in audits, data verification, and other compliance-related activities.
