The Legacy Hotel is a charming and vibrant hotel situated in the heart of Mwingi, Kenya. We offer our guests a comfortable and authentic Kenyan experience, with excellent service and a warm atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
● Oversee all aspects of the hotel's operation, including daily operations, guest services, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
● Develop and implement strategies to increase occupancy rates, revenue, and profitability.
● Ensure exceptional customer service by setting high standards, training staff, and resolving guest concerns promptly and professionally.
● Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of employees, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
● Manage hotel budget and resources effectively, ensuring financial stability and adherence to budget guidelines.
● Develop and maintain strong relationships with local businesses and community members.
● Stay informed about industry trends and best practices, implementing innovative strategies to improve the hotel's performance.
Qualifications:
● Minimum 5 years of experience in hotel management, preferably in a similar sized property.
● Proven track record of success in increasing occupancy rates, revenue, and profitability.
● Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
● Fluency in English and Kiswahili is a plus.
