Job summary

Manage end-to-end HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, employee records, attendance tracking, and HR compliance. Support payroll coordination and employee engagement while ensuring smooth HR processes across the organization. Experience with HR systems such as Zoho People will be an added advantage.

Job descriptions & requirements

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Coordinate recruitment processes including job postings, CV screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.
  • Work with department heads to identify hiring needs and support talent acquisition strategies.
  • Assist in preparing offer letters, contracts, and onboarding documentation.

2. Employee Onboarding & Offboarding

  • Manage onboarding processes for new hires including documentation, orientation, and system access.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure HR documentation is up to date.
  • Manage exit processes including resignation documentation, clearance, and final settlement coordination.

3. HR Administration

  • Maintain and update employee databases and HR files.
  • Track attendance, leave records, and employee documentation.
  • Support HR reporting and internal workforce analytics.

4. HR Systems & Digital Records

  • Manage employee information using HR management systems.
  • Maintain digital attendance, leave management, and employee records.
  • Utilize Zoho People or other HRMS platforms to streamline HR processes (knowledge of Zoho People is an advantage).

5. Payroll & Compliance Support

  • Coordinate with finance for payroll preparation including attendance, leave, and statutory deductions.
  • Ensure compliance with Kenyan labour laws and company HR policies.
  • Maintain records related to contracts, statutory requirements, and employee benefits.

6. Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Support internal engagement initiatives, team activities, and company events.
  • Address employee queries related to HR policies and procedures.
  • Promote a positive and collaborative work environment.
