Job Purpose
To support the organization by managing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, HR administration, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and labor laws.
Key Responsibilities
A. Recruitment & Onboarding
Assist in preparing job descriptions and posting vacancies.
Screen CVs, shortlist candidates, and schedule interviews.
Participate in interviews and provide hiring recommendations.
Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and induction of new employees.
B. HR Administration
Maintain and update employee records, contracts, and HR files.
Prepare HR letters (appointment, confirmation, warnings, etc.).
Keep track of staff attendance, leave, and timesheets.
Support payroll preparation by collecting and verifying attendance and related data.
C. Employee Relations
Provide guidance to staff on HR policies and procedures.
Handle staff concerns, grievances, and minor disciplinary cases.
Promote a positive workplace culture and staff wellbeing.
D. Performance Management
Support implementation of performance appraisal processes.
Follow up on performance improvement plans (PIPs).
Coordinate training and development activities.
E. Compliance
Ensure HR activities comply with labor laws and company policies.
Prepare HR reports for management.
Support audits and compliance checks.
Qualifications & Skills
Qualifications
Diploma in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
CHRP or HR professional certification is an added advantage.
1–2years of HR experience (or more, depending on organization).
