Role Overview:
We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Human Resources & Administration Officer to support our Kenya operations. Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, this role is central to driving an exceptional employee experience and ensuring effective day-to-day office operations.
You will manage the full employee lifecycle and HR operations while also coordinating key administrative functions including travel, immigration services, and facilities management.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources (70%)
- - Serve as the first point of contact for Kenya staff on HR-related matters.
- - Manage onboarding, offboarding, contract changes, and employee lifecycle events.
- - Maintain and update HRIS and personnel files with accuracy and confidentiality.
- - Support recruitment processes: JD preparation, candidate screening, scheduling, and onboarding.
- - Administer employee benefits including insurance and wellness programs.
- - Support performance management cycles, engagement surveys, L&D tracking, and HR reporting.
- - Ensure compliance with Kenyan labor laws and internal policies.
- - Organize internal events and team activities aligned to BCS culture. Ok
Office Administration (30%)
- - Oversee daily office operations including vendor management, facility maintenance, and supplies.
- - Handle reception duties, guest management, and office communication flows.
- - Organize travel logistics: flights, accommodation, allowances, visas, and work permit renewals.
- - Maintain accurate records of permits, licenses, medical cards, and employee ID issuance.
- - Manage petty cash and office expense tracking with accurate documentation.
- - Ensure translation, formatting, and distribution of company documents (as needed).
- - Plan and coordinate staff meetings, office events, and hospitality support.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- - Timeliness and accuracy in processing employee lifecycle events.
- - Compliance with HR policies and local labor regulations.
- - Employee data integrity in HR systems and files.
- - Operational readiness of the office (supplies, utilities, maintenance).
- - Timely execution of travel plans and immigration services.
- - Positive feedback from internal stakeholders on HR and admin support.
