Job Description/Requirements

GENERAL DUTIES
1)Server and database management
ii)Security Checks in case of Breach
iii)Back Up Administration (Back-ups (Manual &Automated Cloud back-ups) (Daily, Weekly)
iv)Network Management.
v) System configuration as per business requirement
vi)Recoveries
vii)Marketing Sacco Products
viii)Research on new ICT Trends
ix)Tracking and Monitoring of Assets owned by the Sacco
x)Social Media Handling and Maintenance
xi)computer installation
xii)reconciliation of transaction
xiv)training other staff on ICT Operations
xv)ICT Support, Network and Troubleshooting
xvi)General User and System Support
xvii)Cybercrime Investigations


JOB SPECIFICATIONS
The Holder of the ICT Assistance Position Must
a) Be of Exemplary Integrity and Honesty
b) Must be Empathic to Customer needs
c)Be decisive and possess quick judgment skills
d)Possess Excellent Business writing skills
e) Be Pro Active and Initiative
f) Possess analytical and critical thinking skills to assist in reconciliation
e) have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
g) Must be self-motivated


Minimum Qualification

1. Bachelor of IT or Diploma in Computer Science
2. Certification in database system, networking, hardware or programming is added
advantage
3. Knowledge of the Operation of various Sacco software systems
4. Though knowledge of software development and networking techniques
5. Knowledge of the current database management system
6. Clear demonstration of thorough knowledge of current IT Issues
7. At Least two years of experience in the same or related position

INTERESTED CANDIDATES MUST FULFILL THE REQUIREMENTS AS PER CHAPTER SIX OF THE KENYAN
CONSTITUTION
They should immediately initiate clearance from the following bodies as they shall be a requirement to
be presented before the appointment stage for a successful candidate:
a) Police clearance certificate (Certificate of Good Conduct).
b) Clearance certificate from Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)
