Job Description/Requirements

  • Supervise and lead the IT team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of all IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and telecommunications systems.
  • Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of data and systems.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime and disruptions to operations.
  • Provide technical support to call center staff and other locations, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, resolving network connectivity problems, and assisting with user inquiries.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on IT best practices and procedures.
  • Lead IT projects from conception to completion, including system upgrades, implementations, and integrations.
  • Develop project plans, allocate resources, and monitor progress to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Evaluate vendor products and services to ensure they meet the organization & needs and standards.
  • Negotiate contracts and service agreements with vendors to obtain favorable terms and pricing.
  • Monitor vendor performance and address any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain an inventory of IT assets, including hardware, software licenses, and peripherals.
  • Implement asset tracking and management procedures to monitor the lifecycle of IT assets from procurement to disposal.
  • Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with asset management policies and procedures.
  • Assess the organization & IT requirements and develop procurement strategies to acquire new equipment and technology solutions.
  • Research vendors and products to identify cost-effective and reliable IT equipment that meets the organization & needs.
  • Prepare purchase requisitions, obtain approval from relevant stakeholders, and manage the procurement process from order placement to delivery.
  • Develop and manage the IT department budget, including forecasting expenses, tracking expenditures, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as data privacy laws and industry-specific regulations.


Qualifications.

  • Be a holder of Bachelor’s degree in either Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Technology or Computer engineering or related field.
  • Must have at least 3years working experience in IT.
  • Must be in a Managerial role for at least 1 years.
  • Should possess excellent communication, decision making, and analytical organizational and interpersonal skills.
