Job Summary
The IT Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and managing the organization’s IT strategy, infrastructure, and systems to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient technology operations. The role supports business continuity, digital transformation, and innovation while ensuring IT governance and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
IT Strategy & Leadership
Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with business goals
Advise senior management on technology investments and digital initiatives
Lead IT projects, system upgrades, and digital transformation programs
Infrastructure & Systems Management
Oversee networks, servers, cloud platforms, hardware, and software
Ensure high system availability, performance, and scalability
Manage data centers, backups, and disaster recovery plans
Cybersecurity & Risk Management
Implement and maintain cybersecurity policies, controls, and monitoring
Manage access controls, data protection, and incident response
Ensure compliance with data protection and IT security regulations
Applications & User Support
Oversee enterprise applications, ERP systems, and business software
Ensure timely IT support and service delivery to users
Manage IT service desk operations and SLAs
Vendor & Budget Management
Manage IT vendors, service providers, and contracts
Develop and control IT budgets and cost optimization initiatives
Policies, Governance & Documentation
Develop IT policies, standards, and procedures
Ensure compliance with IT governance frameworks and audits
Maintain IT documentation and asset registers
Team Leadership & Development
Lead, mentor, and develop IT staff
Build a performance-driven and service-oriented IT team
Key Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
Professional certifications (ITIL, CISSP, CISA, Microsoft, Cisco, AWS, etc.) are an added advantage
Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in IT roles, with leadership responsibility
Strong experience in infrastructure, systems, and IT operations
