Our client, is an audit firm based in Westlands, Nairobi and they are looking for a junior auditor. The ideal candidate will perform basic auditing tasks under the guidance of senior auditors.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
. Sales and Purchase Invoice processing and filing.
. Ensuring payments, amounts and records are correct.
. Working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers and journals.
. Filing Statutory-VAT/NSSF/NHIF/PAYE/WHT/WHVAT.
. Updating and maintaining procedural documentation.
. Liaising with third party providers, clients and suppliers.
. Bank reconciliation.
. Monitoring daily communications and answering any queries.
. Frequent Reporting to Management.
. Any other duties as may be allocated from time to time.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
. Bachelors of Commerce or related studies.
. ACCA / CPA Qualified or Pursuing.
. Required Job Experience 3 - 4 years.
. Working knowledge of the Kenyan iTax System.
. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
. Working knowledge of Quickbooks, Quickbooks Online or Xero Accounting Software.
. Good Personal Planning and Organizational Skills.
MONTHLY GROSS SALARY: Ksh. 50,000
