They are seeking a highly organized and disciplined Key Account Executive / Assistant Key Account Manager to support the management of their key retail accounts.

The role involves assisting with sales tracking, order processing, reporting, and relationship management with key retail partners. The successful candidate will help ensure that orders, documentation, and communications with key accounts are handled efficiently while providing insights and administrative support to the Key Accounts team.

This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Excel, as well as the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Key Account Support

  • Assist with managing and supporting key retail accounts.
  • Maintain regular communication with account representatives.
  • Conduct periodic in-person visits to stores to monitor product placement, stock levels, and general account health.
  • Support the Key Account Manager with meeting preparation and follow-ups.

Sales Tracking & Data Analysis

  • Track sales performance across key accounts.
  • Prepare regular Excel-based reports and sales summaries.
  • Provide basic insights and analysis on sales trends and account performance.
  • Assist in monitoring stock levels and sales movement at key outlets.

Order Processing & Coordination

  • Assist in processing and monitoring orders through internal systems.
  • Coordinate with warehouse, accounts, and sales teams to ensure orders are fulfilled smoothly.
  • Track order status and follow up where necessary.

Documentation & Administration

  • Maintain organized records of key account documentation.
  • Manage contracts, correspondence, and internal documentation related to key accounts.
  • Support the team with general administrative coordination.

Accounts & Invoice Follow-Ups

  • Assist with invoice follow-ups and reconciliation with customers.
  • Coordinate with the accounts department on outstanding payments or discrepancies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (reporting, tracking, and basic analysis).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • High level of discipline and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and spoken English for professional communication with key accounts.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through consistently.
  • Comfortable working with data, documentation, and operational processes.
  • Ability to travel within Nairobi for store visits and meetings.
