RequirementsA diploma in Medical Laboratory Science.Must have a registration certificate from the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technician and Technologist Board.At least two (2) years of appropriate experience in medical laboratory functions.ICT competency.Excellent customer serviceSelf-motivated and a team playerPleasant personality
RESPONSIBILITIES
Registration, collection and processing of client samples within the limits of specific testsCommunication of laboratory results to the internal and external customersMaintain high standards of quality laboratory practice by the use of proper reagents, wellcalibrated machines, and a clean working environmentObserve efficient usage of reagents, glassware and equipment.Preparation of laboratory reportsParticipation in internal QC programmes and logging in the appropriate registers
REQUIRED SKILLS
Documentation and record keeping, Medication and prescription administration, Laboratory operation, Cleaning and disinfecting equipment, Specimen collection
REQUIRED EDUCATION
Diploma, Associate's degree
