LAUNDRY MAN in Canada

Job Description:

Wash, dry, fold, iron hotel linens; operate equipment; maintain safety and cleanliness.

Duties:

·  Refers guest problems or complaints to supervisor.

·  Sorts all soiled linen, weighs and loads into appropriate carts or machines.

·  Pre-treats laundry for stains.

·  Loads and unloads washers and dryers operate machines and record poundage amounts, and amounts washed and dried.

·  Folds towels either by hand or towel folder, irons table linens, irons and folds sheets, hand folds pillowcases, blankets, bed pads, draw sheets, herbal wraps etc.

·  Sorts and separates damaged or stained linen, i.e., to be repaired or used as rags.

·  Observes safety rules and maintains a safe environment.

·  Cleans lint traps from dryers daily; checks and cleans drains as necessary.

·  Contributes to a team effort and accomplishes related results as required.

·  Performs other related duties as required or directed.

Terms and Conditions:
1. Accommodation                 - Provided.

5. Working hours         - 9a.m-6p.m [mon-sat]

6. Vacation             - 28.5 days every year

7. Salary             - Ca$16 per hour

8. Contract                     - 2 years.

9. Extra time             - Ca$20 per hour

10. Insurance & Pension         - According to Canadian Labor laws.
