Location: Nairobi | Department: Leasing | Reports to: Head of Leasing
We are seeking a capable candidate to lead the leasing business’ day-to-day operations and drive commercial performance. The role will support business growth, oversee leasing transactions and assets utilisation, manage customer relationships, and ensure strong operational and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage end-to-end leasing transactions, from customer proposal and contract execution to asset deployment, billing and contract closure.
• Supervise day-to-day leasing operations, administrative functions and cross-functional activities across.
• Manage the leasing opportunity pipeline, assess customer requirements and prepare appropriate leasing proposals and commercial presentations.
• Support commercial negotiations and build strong customer relationships to drive renewals, additional business and cross-selling opportunities.
• Oversee assets under management including; availability, utilisation, condition, maintenance, renewals, returns, redeployment and disposal.
• Coordinate lease agreements, contract records, billing schedules and customer obligations in collaboration with Finance and Credit Control.
• Monitor leasing revenue, gross margins, operating costs, and contracts profitability.
• Ensure compliance with approved credit, pricing, legal, risk-management and operational requirements, including customer due diligence.
• Prepare timely operational and commercial reports.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations, Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant postgraduate or professional qualification will be an added advantage.
• At least five (5) years' relevant experience in leasing, rental, asset finance, fleet management, equipment sales, commercial operations or a related field.
• Experience in commercial transactions, contract administration, asset management, customer account management and pricing analysis.
• Experience within equipment, automotive, material handling, construction, medical, power systems or a related industry will be advantageous.
• Previous supervisory or team-leadership experience is preferred.
