JOB SUMMARY
Qualifications and ExperienceMaster of Medicine (MMed) in Obstetrics and Gynaecology or equivalent specialist qualification from a recognized universityRegistration with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC) with a valid practicing licenseEvidence of at least two publications in refereed scholarly journalsOR One refereed journal publication and one scholarly book chapterDemonstrated potential for academic research and postgraduate trainingEvidence of continuous professional development, including:Participation in academic conferencesResearch presentationsClinical teaching activitiesAcademic workshopsDemonstrated commitment to pursuing a PhD or equivalent doctoral qualification
RESPONSIBILITIES
Teach undergraduate and postgraduate medical studentsParticipate in clinical teaching and supervision of traineesConduct research and publish scholarly workParticipate in curriculum development and academic activitiesProvide clinical services in affiliated teaching hospitalsParticipate in departmental academic programs and professional development activities
