Crystal Africa is seeking an experienced, proactive, and dynamic Logistics Fleet & Service Center Manager to oversee our complete fleet operations, on-site service center, and vehicle maintenance facilities. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical skills for fleet tracking and reporting with hands-on oversight of vehicle servicing, repairs, and depot cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities 

Fleet Oversight & Tracking: Monitor real-time vehicle tracking systems, driver performance, routes, fuel consumption, and trip logs.

Generate regular fleet utilization and performance reports.

In-House Workshop & Repair Management: Supervise scheduled preventive maintenance, routine servicing, and emergency mechanical/electrical repairs for all company vehicles (including Isuzu and Fuso/FI trucks)in our in-house workshop.

Service Center & Car Wash Operations: Manage daily depot operations, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, proper functioning of the on-site car wash, and orderly parking/depot workflow.

Inventory & Spare Parts Control: Oversee parts inventory, manage supplier/vendor relationships for workshop supplies, and keep track of workshop tools and maintenance equipment.

Compliance & Safety: Ensure all fleet vehicles comply with legal requirements, NTSA regulations, insurance coverage, speed governors, and valid inspection certificates. Team Leadership: Supervise, schedule, and evaluate workshop mechanics, car wash staff, and fleet support personnel.


Requirements & Qualifications Education:

Degree or Diploma in Automotive Engineering, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Fleet Management, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience managing commercial vehicle fleets and supervising automotive workshop/service center operations.

Technical Knowledge: Deep practical understanding of diesel engine mechanics, maintenance systems, and vehicle diagnostic processes (specifically heavy commercial vehicles like Isuzu and Fuso).

Software Skills: Proficiency with telematics, GPS tracking platforms, and fleet management/reporting software.

Leadership & Organizational Skills: Strong team management abilities, clear written/verbal communication, and sharp analytical problem-solving skills.
