We are seeking a skilled and experienced Machine and Material Engineer to join our team for a road project involving upgrading works to bitumen standards.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities;
- Oversee and coordinate the utilization, maintenance, and performance of construction machinery and equipment on site. Monitor and evaluate the quality and usage of construction materials including aggregates, bitumen, cement, and stabilizers.
- Ensure all plant and equipment are in good working condition and used efficiently to meet project timelines.
- Work closely with the laboratory team to ensure materials meet required standards.
- Keep accurate records of machinery usage, breakdowns, maintenance schedules, and material deliveries/usage.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards in the use and operation of all machines and material handling procedures.
- Support procurement by specifying machinery needs and material requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Higher Diploma in Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 3years experience in road construction projects, particularly involving upgrading to bitumen standards.
- Good knowledge of construction machinery, including graders, rollers, excavators, and pavers.
- Familiarity with material specifications and usage in road construction.
