Job summary
We are seeking a commercially driven Marketing Consultant to lead strategic market entry, brand positioning, retail growth, and digital marketing initiatives across multiple business units and concepts.

Key Responsibilities
Market Entry & Commercial Strategy
Develop and execute market entry plans for new products and brands
Conduct competitor analysis, pricing studies, and consumer research
Identify growth opportunities across retail, wholesale, and hospitality channels
Build go-to-market strategies for FMCG and beverage products
Support supplier, distributor, and partnership acquisition
Brand Development & Positioning
Lead brand awareness campaigns
Strengthen visual identity, customer perception, and market positioning
Develop campaigns that improve customer traffic, retention, and repeat purchases
Create launch strategies for new products
Retail & Consumer Experience
Advise on retail layout, merchandising, promotions, and customer flow
Recommend product mix strategies and category optimization
Improve customer experience and operational presentation standards
Digital Marketing & Media
Manage and oversee digital marketing strategy across all platforms
Grow social media engagement, reach, and conversion performance
Develop paid advertising campaigns across Meta, TikTok, Google, and other platforms
Coordinate content calendars, campaign creatives, and influencer collaborations
Monitor analytics and provide performance reporting with actionable insights
Strategic Growth & Partnerships
Build marketing partnerships and collaboration opportunities
Support trade activations, promotions, and experiential marketing campaigns
Identify opportunities for B2B growth and corporate partnerships
Advise management on trends, market shifts, and expansion opportunities

Required Qualifications & Experience
Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
3+ years experience in marketing, brand management, consultancy, or business growth roles
Strong understanding of Kenyan retail, FMCG, café, or hospitality markets
Proven experience managing digital campaigns and brand growth
Experience in content strategy, social media, and paid advertising
Strong analytical and commercial thinking skills
Ability to manage multiple brands and projects simultaneously
