ECC’s work encompasses conservation initiatives, heritage preservation, research facilitation, and visitor engagement, all within a unique natural setting. The Centre actively educates school children on environmental stewardship and conservation, offering programs throughout East Africa. We are situated along Moi South Lake and adjacent to Lake Naivasha
To further its mission and contribute to sustainability efforts, ECC operates a lodge. This lodge serves as a prominent tourist destination, attracting visitors both locally and internationally.
Elsamere is seeking to recruit a marketing executive to join its dedicated staff and help advance its mission. The ideal candidate is a dynamic, experienced professional with a genuine passion for marketing and business development.
Position Summary
The selected candidate will be responsible for providing strategic direction in marketing and business development. The role focuses on increasing occupancy, revenue, and brand visibility by creatively and strategically promoting accommodation, dining, activities, and conservation programs.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing plan utilizing both below-the-line and above-the-line strategies.
- Manage digital marketing efforts, including social media platforms, website maintenance, and SEO optimization.
- Meet established sales targets.
- Oversee partnerships management.
- Handle public relations and branding initiatives.
- Conduct market research to inform marketing strategies.
- Achieve all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Tourism, or Hospitality.
- 5 years of marketing experience, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in digital marketing and content creation.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- A genuine passion for conservation would be an added advantage
