JOB SUMMARY
Location: Kenya (Remote)Engagement Type: Independent Contractor (Hands-on executor only)Reports to: Marketing Director (UK)The Marketing & Growth Lead will own the entire marketing function for a fast-growing UK-based indoor golf simulator business. This is a highly execution-focused role responsible for driving bookings, increasing facility utilization (especially off-peak and weekdays), and improving customer retention.The role requires a strong hands-on marketer who can independently run paid acquisition, create and test campaigns, produce AI-assisted content, manage CRM and retention flows, and continuously optimize performance based on data. This is not a strategic, advisory, or agency management role. It is a full execution ownership role with direct impact on revenue and bookings.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Paid Acquisition & Demand GenerationSet up, manage, and optimize Meta, Google, and TikTok ad campaignsCreate and test weekly ad creatives, audiences, and offersBuild and optimize simple landing pages and booking funnelsTrack full funnel performance from click to booking to revenueOptimize for CAC, ROAS, and utilization (peak vs off-peak demand)AI-Led Content & Creative ProductionUse AI tools daily to generate ad creatives, copy, and campaign variationsProduce social media content, email campaigns, and landing page copyMaintain consistent brand tone and commercial messagingRapidly iterate creatives based on performance dataCRM, Email & WhatsApp RetentionBuild and manage email, SMS, and WhatsApp marketing flowsExecute lifecycle campaigns including:First-time visitor follow-upsRepeat visit nudgesWin-back campaignsMembership and corporate promotionsFocus on increasing repeat bookings and customer lifetime valueSocial Media & PartnershipsManage all social media channels directlyDrive and repurpose user-generated contentIdentify and activate partnerships with:Local influencersCorporate clientsGolf clubs, leagues, and communitiesEnsure all activity drives bookings and enquiriesAnalytics, Testing & ReportingMonitor daily and weekly performance metricsRun structured experiments across creatives, offers, and audiencesReport insights clearly: what worked, what didn’t, and next actionsFocus on core business KPIs: bookings, revenue, utilization, retention, CAC, ROASQualifications3-7+ years of hands-on digital or growth marketing experienceProven experience running paid advertising campaigns end-to-endDemonstrated ownership of measurable business outcomes (not just execution tasks)Strong practical experience using AI tools for marketing productionExperience in B2C industries such as sports, fitness, hospitality, leisure, or entertainmentStrong analytical mindset with ability to interpret performance data and optimize campaignsExcellent execution discipline and ability to work independentlyAdditional (Preferred) SkillsExperience with high-frequency performance marketing environmentsFamiliarity with CRM tools (email, SMS, WhatsApp automation platforms)Experience in subscription, membership, or booking-based businessesUnderstanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO)Experience working across UK or international marketsAbility to quickly test and scale marketing experiments
