Overview:
• Support stock management activities, including receiving, inspection, storage, inventory control, expiry tracking, and record keeping of medical products.
• Assist the Pharmacist in ensuring proper storage conditions, cold chain maintenance where applicable, and product integrity at all times.
• Maintain accurate records, registers, and documentation related to medical products as directed by the Pharmacist.
• Support day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, compliance, and customer safety.
• Assist the Pharmacist with routine quality management activities related to medical products in line with approved SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Assist the Pharmacist in monitoring compliance related to medical product storage, handling, traceability, and documentation.
• Support audit and inspection activities by preparing records and information as directed by the Pharmacist.
• Support staff awareness of quality and regulatory procedures under the guidance of the Pharmacist.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve or exceed sales targets within the assigned territory.
• Identify and prospect new customers while maintaining and nurturing relationships with existing clients.
• Provide product demonstrations and technical support to customers as needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to potential clients.
• Attend trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to network and promote company products and services.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management using CRM software.
• Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement effective promotional campaigns and strategies.
• Provide feedback to product development teams based on customer needs and market demands.
Requirements:
• Must be a qualified Pharmacy Technician (Pharm Tech).
• Proven track record of success in sales, preferably within the scientific, Medical or laboratory industry.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and maintain long-term customer relationships.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Diploma in Pharmacy Technology.
• Registration with relevant Pharmacy Regulatory Authority.
• Experience in wholesale Pharmaceutical Operations preferred.
• Background in Sales or customer relations is an added advantage.
