Article establishes a county government for each county consisting of the county assembly and the county executive. The Trans Nzoia county government was operationalized in March after the country’s general election with H.E Hon. Patrick Simiyu Khaemba as the first popularly elected Governor.Duties and ResponsibilitiesThis is the entry and training grade for the youth polytechnic instructor’s cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior youth polytechnic instructor.Work will entail:- Theoretical and practical instruction in the area of specialization;Preparing and maintaining schemes of work, lesson notes;Trainee records, teaching and learning materials;Carrying out trainee’s assessment;Ensuring proper care and maintenance of tools and equipment;Conducting co-curricular activities, maintaining trainees ‘discipline; andGuiding and counselling trainees. Requirements for AppointmentFor appointment to this grade, an officer must have: Diploma or Craft Module II in Hairdressing and beauty therapy and Metal processing technology or anyequivalent qualification from a recognized institution;Diploma in Technical Education or Instructor training Certificate from KTTCExperience lasting not less than two years;Certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution
