JOB TITLE: MOTORBIKE FIELD SALES REPRESENTATIVE

NATURE OF JOB: FULL TIME

INDUSTRY: FMCG

SALARY: KSHS.20,000 PLUS COMMISSIONS

JOB LOCATION:NAIROBI


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets within assigned territories.
  • Prospect and onboard new customers including retail shops, kiosks, and small wholesalers.
  • Upsell and cross-sell products to increase revenue.
  • Conduct daily route riding to ensure product availability and optimal coverage.
  • Ensure timely delivery of products to customers on assigned routes.
  • Maintain accurate records of visited customers, feedback, orders, and competitor activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers and distributors.
  • Resolve customer queries, complaints, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide product knowledge and support to customers to improve sell-through.
  • Ensure proper product placement, stock rotation, and merchandising in all retail outlets.
  • Monitor stock levels and help minimize expired or damaged goods.
  • Implement promotional activities and ensure POS materials are properly utilized.
  • Prepare daily sales reports, route reports, and market intelligence summaries.
  • Collect and relay market insights including pricing, competitor activities, and consumer trends.
  • Submit accurate sales documentation, receipts, and collections as required.


KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Diploma or certificate in sales & marketing or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a motorbike salesman in the fmcg industry
  • Valid motorcycle riding license (class A)
  • Excellent knowledge of nairobi routes and market dynamics
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet targets, and handle long field hours
