ABOUT THE COMPANY

Kaimosi Friends National Polytechnic is located in Vihiga County, within the Western Region of Kenya, at the heart of the Kaimosi Mission Complex. The institution sits on a 60-acre piece of land along the Kisumu–Chavakali–Kapsabet–Eldoret road.
Established in 1971 by the East African Yearly Meeting of Friends Church (Quakers), in collaboration with the local community and partners from the USA and UK, the institution was originally known as Friends College Kaimosi (FCK). It was founded to promote vocational education with a strong emphasis on Practical Agriculture, Rural Leadership, Small Business Management, and Entrepreneurship Training.

JOB SUMMARY

Requirements for AppointmentFor appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:-Diploma, Nursing from a recognized institution.Registered and licensed by the Nursing Council of Kenya.Valid practicing license.Minimum of 3 years of relevant nursing experienceSound knowledge of nursing procedures, patient care standards, and infection prevention practices.Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and counseling skills.Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.Good organizational and time-management skills.Computer literacy and familiarity with electronic medical record systems are an added advantage.High level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to quality patient care.
