JOB SUMMARY
Qualifications and ExperienceEducation: Master of Medicine (MMed) in Obstetrics and Gynecology from a recognized institution.Licensing: Valid registration and practicing license from the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC).Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years post-qualification experience in a busy hospital setting.Skills: Competency in minimally invasive surgery (laparoscopy) is an added advantage.Attributes: Strong communication skills, empathy,professionalism, and commitment to patient-centered care.Method of ApplicationInterested candidates are kindly encouraged to forward their CV and application letters
RESPONSIBILITIES
Clinical Care: Deliver comprehensive obstetric and gynecological services, including antenatal, postnatal, family planning, and high-risk pregnancy management.Surgical Procedures: Perform elective and emergency obstetric and gynecological surgeries (C-sections, hysterectomies, laparoscopy).Patient Consultation: Run outpatient clinics, offering accurate diagnosis and individualized treatment plans.Emergency Management: Provide on-call services and lead obstetric emergency response teams to ensure optimal maternal and neonatal outcomes.Team Leadership: Mentor and supervise junior doctors, interns, and nursing staff. Quality Assurance: Participate in clinical audits, mortality reviews, and continuous medical education (CME) activities.
