OPERATIONS MANAGER – CABRO & PAVING
Job summary

On behalf of our client dealing with production of Cabro & Paving blocks, we are seeking to hire a Competent and qualified candidate to fill in the position of an Operations Manager. The ideal candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations of the factory by ensuring efficient production, quality products, timely deliveries, proper use of resources and achievement of operational targets.
Job descriptions & requirements
Key Responsibilities
1.Oversee daily production and general factory operations.
2.Plan and coordinate production according to customer orders and sales requirements.
3.Ensure Cabro, paving blocks, and other products are produced according to required quality standards.
4.Supervise production, stores, transport and other operational staff.
5.Monitor production targets, productivity and wastage.
6.Ensure adequate availability of raw materials and production supplies.
7.Coordinate with Sales to ensure customer orders are produced and delivered on time.
8. Monitor proper use and maintenance of production machinery and equipment.
9. Ensure the factory is clean, safe and properly organized.
10. Enforce health and safety procedures within the factory.
11. Monitor stock levels of raw materials and finished products.
12. Identify operational problems and take corrective action.
13. Control operational costs and minimize wastage.
14. Prepare daily, weekly and monthly operational reports for management.
15. Manage staff attendance, discipline and performance in coordination with HR.
16. Coordinate loading, dispatch and delivery of finished products.
17. Liaise with suppliers, contractors and service providers when required.
18. Recommend improvements to production processes and overall operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience
a) Bachelor's Degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Production Management, Engineering or a related field.
b) At least 5-7 years' experience in operations, production or factory management.
c) Experience in Cabro, paving blocks, concrete products, construction materials or manufacturing is an added advantage.
d) Good knowledge of production processes and factory operations.
