DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Packaging

·       Package bakery products according to approved procedures and production requirements.

·       Ensure products are correctly weighed, sealed, labeled, and arranged for distribution.

·       Check packaged products for quality, appearance, and compliance with packaging standards.

·       Maintain accuracy in product quantities and packaging specifications.

Quality Control Support

·       Inspect finished products before and during packaging to identify defects or quality issues.

·       Ensure only approved products are packed for dispatch.

·       Report damaged, defective, or non-conforming products to the supervisor.

·       Support product traceability by ensuring correct labeling and batch identification.

Food Safety & Hygiene Compliance

·       Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and cleanliness within the packaging area.

·       Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety procedures, and company hygiene policies.

·       Ensure packaging materials are handled and stored properly.

·       Keep workstations, equipment, and surrounding areas clean and organized.

 Production Support

·       Work efficiently to meet daily packaging and production targets.

·       Assist production teams during peak periods and high-volume operations.

·       Support loading, sorting, and preparation of finished products for dispatch.

·       Follow production schedules and instructions from supervisors.

Equipment & Workplace Safety

·       Operate packaging tools and equipment safely.

·       Report equipment faults, safety hazards, or operational challenges immediately.

·       Follow workplace safety procedures and use protective equipment as required.

·       Maintain a safe and organized working environment.

Inventory & Materials Handling

·       Handle packaging materials such as bags, cartons, labels, and other supplies carefully.

·       Monitor packaging material usage and report shortages to supervisors.

·       Minimize wastage of products and packaging materials.

·       Support proper storage and organization of packaging supplies.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

·       Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience in a food manufacturing, bakery, FMCG, or production environment.

·       Experience in product packaging, food handling, or manufacturing operations is preferred.

·       Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.

·       Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

·       Good attention to detail and accuracy.

·       Ability to follow instructions and production procedures.
