We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Part-Time Bookkeeper to manage financial records, ensure compliance, and support business decision-making through accurate reporting. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with modern accounting tools and digital systems.
Job descriptions & requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records (sales, expenses, reconciliations)
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Perform bank and MPESA reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial reports (P&L, cash flow, balance sheet)
- Handle tax compliance (VAT, PAYE, etc.)
- Manage payroll records (if applicable)
- Work with accounting software and digital tools
- Support budgeting and financial planning
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA (Part II or above preferred)
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper/accountant (2+ years)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles

- QuickBooks / Zoho Books / Xero
- Excel / Google Sheets
- Cloud-based systems
- Experience handling MPESA transactions and reconciliation
- High attention to detail and accuracy
