Payables Accountant
Job summary
The job is to manage end-to-end payables for a fast-growing FMCG manufacturer i.e.: post supplier bills, petty cash, VAT and WHT; perform 3-way PO matching; reconcile inventory assemblies and physical stock; handle bank/M-Pesa reconciliations; monitor statutory compliance (PAYE, NSSF, SHIF); and maintain complete documentation in Zoho Books.
Job descriptions & requirements
Diploma or degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Minimum 2 years' accounts payable experience, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing.
Proficient in ERP systems (Zoho Books preferred).
Working knowledge of Kenyan statutory deductions (PAYE, NSSF, SHIF, VAT, WHT).
Detail oriented with xcellent time management with strong reconciliation and documentation skills.
