SALARY: KSHS.50,000-60,000

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Over-the-Counter (OTC) Sales & Customer Service
- Dispense OTC medications and skincare products in compliance with pharmaceutical guidelines.
- Provide professional guidance on product usage, dosage, precautions, and contraindications.
- Recommend appropriate skincare regimens based on customer skin type (oily, dry, combination, sensitive, acne-prone, aging, hyperpigmented, etc.).
- Upsell and cross-sell complementary dermatological and cosmetic products.
- Maintain high standards of customer service and ensure a positive client experience.
Skin Care Consultation & Product Advisory
- Conduct basic skin assessments and identify common skin concerns such as acne, eczema, hyperpigmentation, and sun damage.
- Advise on ingredient efficacy (e.g., retinoids, AHAs/BHAs, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, SPF formulations).
- Educate customers on proper skincare routines (cleansing, toning, treatment, moisturizing, sun protection).
- Stay updated on emerging skincare trends and new product formulations.
Inventory & Stock Management
- Monitor stock levels and ensure availability of fast-moving skincare and OTC products.
- Check expiry dates and ensure proper storage conditions.
- Coordinate with suppliers for product replenishment.
- Maintain accurate records of sales and inventory movements.
Regulatory & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Pharmacy and Poisons Board regulations.
- Maintain professional ethical standards in pharmaceutical practice.
- Ensure proper documentation and adherence to safety protocols.
Sales & Performance Reporting
- Track daily and monthly sales targets.
- Prepare reports on product performance and customer demand trends.
- Support promotional campaigns and in-store product activations.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology (mandatory).
- 2–4 years’ relevant work experience in a retail pharmacy or dermatology-focused environment.
- Strong knowledge of dermatological and cosmeceutical products.
- Strong product knowledge in skincare and OTC pharmaceuticals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-centric approach with strong sales skills.
