In order to grow the product offering due to the expansion plans that the company has, we are seeking applications from qualified and experienced person for the above position.

Purpose Of The Job

The purpose of the position is to support and monitor quality of the pharmaceutical operations within the company in order to ensure compliance and seamless service delivery.

The Key Responsibilities Of The Position:

  • Overall technical responsibility for pharmacy operations.
  • Main technical support in the development of the formulary and permanent member of the Medical Therapeutic Committee.
  • Periodic review and monitoring of prescription therapy by the physician to ensure safety and efficacy to patients considering their conditions and health status.
  • Monitor prescription habit and compliance to drug formularies.
  • Provide drugs information and educate medical staff on medications and their proper use, side effects and monitoring.
  • Coaching and mentoring of pharmacy staff.
  •  Ensure compliance with stationary requirements involved in purchasing and importation of drugs, vaccines and sundries according to the Pharmacy and Poisons.
  • Board regulations.
  • Ensure variances and cost of expired drugs is as per the set standards.
  • Together with the procurement officer, ensure negotiations meetings are held before renewals of suppliers’ contract.
  • Any other duties that may be assigned.

Education And Experience
  • Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy
  • Must have 3 years of appropriate experiences in Pharmaceutical Operations.
  • ICT competency.
  • Strong analytical and leadership skills
  • Good people skills and a team player
