About Print Shop

Print Shop is a Nairobi-based printing, design, and branding company providing a wide range of creative and production services to individuals and businesses. Its services include graphic design, branding, digital and large-format printing, photographic and canvas printing, photocopying, binding, and other professional print services. The company emphasizes quality, creativity, customer service, and staying up to date with developments in printing and design technology.

About the Internship Programme

Print Shop is looking for 5–11 motivated recent graduates to join the team for a three-month, hands-on internship programme beginning at the end of September 2026.

The programme is designed for candidates who have completed their Diploma or Bachelor's degree and are looking to gain practical workplace experience. Interns will work alongside experienced team members, participate in day-to-day operations, and gain exposure to a fast-paced customer-facing print, design, and creative environment.

The Photography Intern will support Print Shop's photography and studio-related services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with studio and client photography assignments.

  • Set up cameras, lighting, backgrounds and other photography equipment.

  • Capture high-quality photographs according to client requirements.

  • Assist with basic photo selection, editing and retouching.

  • Prepare images for printing and other client uses.

  • Maintain and safely handle photography equipment.

  • Support the team in delivering photography assignments within agreed timelines.

Preferred Background

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Photography, Film, Media, Communication or a related field.

  • Basic knowledge of cameras, lighting, and photo-editing software.

  • A good eye for composition, detail, and visual presentation.

  • A portfolio of photography work will be an added advantage.

What You Will Gain

The internship offers an opportunity to move beyond classroom learning and gain practical experience in an established print, design, and creative services environment. Interns will have the opportunity to develop technical and workplace skills, understand real customer requirements, work alongside experienced professionals and build practical experience relevant to their chosen career path.

Candidates should apply for the internship track that most closely matches their qualifications, skills and career interests.
