Requirements: 

  • Diploma Or Degree In Insurance, Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, Or A Related Field. 
  • Professional Qualifications In Chartered Insurance Institute (Cii) And Other Related Certification Is An Added Advantage. 

Other Preferred Skills And Competencies Includes: - 

  • Strong Administrative And Data Entry Accuracy Skills. 
  • Understanding Of Insurance Terminology And Policy Structures. 
  • Knowledge Of Underwriting And Policy Lifecycle Processes. 
  • Strong Attention To Detail And Organizational Skills. 
  • Ability To Handle Confidential Medical Information With Discretion.

Experience: 

  • At Least 1 Year Experience In General Insurance, Medical Schemes Administration, Or Insurance Brokerage Operations. 
  • Internship Experience In Insurance Administration Will Be Considered. 
  • Experience Handling International Medical Insurance Products Is An Obvious Advantage.

Salary:  Kshs. 40,000 - 45,000 Plus Company Benefits

Responsibilities: - 

Policy Administration: 

  • Process New Business Applications For International Medical Insurance Policies. 
  • Prepare Policy Documentation, Endorsements, Renewals, And Cancellations. 
  • Verify Completeness Of Underwriting Documents And Supporting Documentation. 

Client & Broker Support: 

  • Respond Promptly To Client, Insurer, And Broker Inquiries Regarding Policy Details, Benefits, Premiums, And Documentation. 
  • Issue Certificates Of Insurance, Policy Schedules, And Confirmation Letters. 
  • Assist Clients With Renewal Notices And Follow-Up On Outstanding Requirements. 

Compliance & Quality Control: 

  • Ensure Policy Processing Complies With Insurer Guidelines And Regulatory Requirements. 
  • Conduct Basic Policy Checks To Identify Discrepancies Before Policy Issuance. 

Premium & Billing Administration: 

  • Assist With Premium Invoicing And Reconciliation. 
  • Monitor Premium Payments And Follow Up On Outstanding Accounts Where Required. 

Reporting & Record Management: 

  • Generate Periodic Reports On Policy Renewals, Cancellations, And New Business. 
  • Maintain Up-To-Date Policy Registers And Tracking Systems.
