Machakos is made up of eight constituencies including Machakos Town, Mavoko, Masinga, Yatta, Kangundo, Kathiani, Matungulu, and Mwala. Machakos Town is the administrative capital of the County.Duties and ResponsibilitiesDuties and responsibilities at this level entail: – Initiating and implementing administrative policies, strategies, procedures and programme;Managing and supervising the general administrative functions;Managing and supervising the general administrative functionsFacilitating maintenance of infrastructure and facilities;Overseeing transport management;Planning and coordinating office accommodation;Managing assets and insurance policies. Requirements for AppointmentFor this appointment an officer must have: – Eight years of working experience of which three should be in a Managerial position in Public Service or Private Sector;Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines:- Public Administration; Business Administration/Management, Community Development or any other Social Science;Certificate in computer applications.
