Job Specification
The duties and responsibilities of Principal Driver Grade 11 entail:
- Driving assigned plant/vehicles.
- Maintaining safety and security of plant/vehicles to minimize pilferage and extend the life span of the plant.
- Maintaining work ticket.
- Implementing scheduled maintenance.
- Updating insurance and other licenses.
Person Specification
For appointment to this post, a candidate must:
- Have twelve (12) years relevant working experience.
- Have Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education mean grade D Plain or its equivalent with proficiency in English and Kiswahili.
- Have a clean valid driving license Classes A, B, C, E and PSV.
- Have a First-Aid Certificate.
- Have passed Suitability Test for Driver Grade I.
- Have an Occupational Test Grade I certificate.
- Have a valid Certificate of Good Conduct.
- Have Advanced Defensive Driving Certificate.
- Be proficient in computer applications.
- Satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya (2010) on Leadership and Integrity upon successful appointment.
