Procurement Manager

Wexus Group is recruiting on behalf of one of its partners operating in the retail and large-scale distribution sector.
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Procurement Manager to oversee sourcing, supplier management, inventory optimization, and procurement operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring cost-effective purchasing strategies while maintaining strong supplier relationships and supporting business growth.
Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize purchasing costs and efficiency
• Analyze market trends and supplier performance to support strategic sourcing decisions
• Ensure healthy inventory levels and product availability
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and identify new sourcing opportunities
• Conduct cost analyses and benchmark procurement performance
• Collaborate closely with internal departments to ensure smooth operational flow
• Implement risk management procedures related to supply chain and procurement
• Supervise and support procurement team members
• Work closely with legal and finance teams regarding contracts and compliance
  

Profile Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Experience with procurement and inventory management systems
• Strong understanding of market dynamics and purchasing strategies
• Leadership and team management capabilities
