Wexus Group is recruiting on behalf of one of its partners operating in the retail and large-scale distribution sector.
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Procurement Manager to oversee sourcing, supplier management, inventory optimization, and procurement operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring cost-effective purchasing strategies while maintaining strong supplier relationships and supporting business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize purchasing costs and efficiency
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to support strategic sourcing decisions
- Ensure healthy inventory levels and product availability
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and identify new sourcing opportunities
- Conduct cost analyses and benchmark procurement performance
- Collaborate closely with internal departments to ensure smooth operational flow
- Implement risk management procedures related to supply chain and procurement
- Supervise and support procurement team members
- Work closely with legal and finance teams regarding contracts and compliance
Profile Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience with procurement and inventory management systems
- Strong understanding of market dynamics and purchasing strategies
- Leadership and team management capabilities
